For counselor education doctoral students, developing a strong professional identity unifies the roles of counselor and emerging educator while recognizing correlating cultural factors. This roundtable session highlights an integrated model of the transformational tasks of professional identity development, the culture-infused counselling model, and the professional identity expression model. Training and pedagogical considerations will be discussed.
