Want to help your students and supervisees become better counselors and have better client outcomes? This session will focus on the research in the field of supervision and client therapy outcomes. Therapeutic working alliance is considered the main factor that affects client outcomes and produces change in clients. Week-to-week changes of supervisory working alliance predicted week-to-week fluctuations in therapeutic working alliance. In other words, the relationship that exists between a supervisor and a supervisee has an effect on the relationship between counselors and their clients. This educational session will explore the study that used a non-experimental correlational research design in order to examine the relationship between supervisory working alliance and therapeutic treatment outcomes.
